About this place
Several diners have remarked on the soft, fluffy texture of the okonomiyaki at Narikindo. One diner who ordered pork okonomiyaki enjoyed the pancake’s light texture after it was cooked on the teppan to order and finished with sauce, mayonnaise, aonori seaweed and bonito flakes. Other options include squid, prawn, pork-and-squid and oyster okonomiyaki. For a different flavour, the menu also appears to offer suji-negi-yaki with konnyaku.
Beyond okonomiyaki, the tonpei set meal is worth a look. One diner who chose it for lunch singled out the fluffy egg and savoury pork. Another described an okonomiyaki set meal served with rice, miso soup, a small side dish and pickles—an option for a more substantial meal. Yakisoba and yaki udon are also available, including pork and squid, seafood and salt-seasoned versions.
The à la carte dishes include butter-sautéed oysters, salt-grilled beef tongue, horse sashimi and a horse-meat dish in the style of yukhoe. One diner said they particularly enjoyed the horse-meat dish, while another noted the attention given to the cuts of offal. These dishes offer a chance to add something extra alongside the teppan cooking. Some diners have also enjoyed drinks with lunch; the drinks list includes draft and bottled beer as well as chūhai. One customer said their okonomiyaki was cooked in the restaurant and brought to the teppan in front of them, and another described taking time over a solo meal.
